Show Management Infrastructure

Software built for
every kind of country show

Compstack brings modern cloud technology to UK village, country and county shows — giving show secretaries a single platform to manage entries, ticketing, traders and show day operations.

Built for the complexity of running a country show

Running a village or country show means coordinating hundreds of moving parts across months of preparation. Compstack replaces spreadsheets and paper with connected, cloud-based show management software purpose-built for show secretaries and show committees.

☁️

Cloud-native & resilient

Hosted on DigitalOcean with managed databases, container deployments and automated health monitoring. No servers to manage, no local backups — ideal for show committees without dedicated IT support.

🔗

Integrated show management applications

Show entries, public ticketing and trader management share a common infrastructure and operational backbone — data flows across your show management system exactly where it's needed, when it's needed.

📈

Scales with your show

Whether you run a local village show or a major county show, Compstack scales to match. Resources are allocated dynamically and costs are kept proportional.

🔒

Secure by design

Role-based access, encrypted secrets management, HTTPS everywhere, and payment processing via Square — built with security at every layer from day one.

An end-to-end platform, application by application

Each application handles a distinct domain of show management. Together they form a complete operational picture.

Designed for Chalfont St Giles. Built to grow.

Compstack was born out of the real operational needs of the CSG Show — a country show that demanded better show management software than spreadsheets and disconnected systems could provide.

From the start, the platform was architected to be flexible. Each application is independently deployable, the infrastructure is multi-tenant capable, and the operational tooling in ShowControl is designed to manage any number of shows and applications from a single place.

The vision is an ecosystem where any UK country show — from a small village show to a major county show — can access the same professional-grade digital show management infrastructure previously only within reach of large, well-resourced organisations.

Built to run only when needed

Country and village shows are seasonal events. Running cloud infrastructure year-round for an event that happens once a year is wasteful and expensive — so Compstack doesn't.

When applications show as Inactive, they have been cleanly shut down for the off-season. All data is preserved in a fully managed database that continues to run year-round, ready to support the applications when they are next deployed.

When the season approaches, a single click in ShowControl redeploys all three applications from stored configuration — fully operational within minutes, at a fraction of the cost of always-on hosting.

💤
Off season
Apps shut down, data preserved. Only the database and ShowControl run — keeping costs to a minimum.
🚀
Deploy season
One click redeploys all applications from stored specs. Fully live within minutes, custom domains re-bound automatically.
📊
Always monitored
ShowControl monitors infrastructure health year-round and sends automated alerts and monthly status reports.
